In an effort to provide valuable assistance to his constituents, Rep. Mark Homer (D-Paris) will be hosting open office hours at various locations throughout House District 3.
The Hopkins County open office visit will be held in Sulphur Springs on Thursday, June 1, 2006 from 12-1 p.m. at the Hopkins County Courthouse, which is located at 118 Church Street. Nancy Brannon, Chief of Staff, will be available to discuss constituent concerns acting as the mediator between the constituent and the appropriate governmental agency.
“My intention by sending the Chief of Staff is to allow an opportunity for the people in my district to get help with any potential issues they might have been dealing with in regards to governmental programs,” said Rep. Homer. “This is not a public forum. It is an informal, one-on-one chance to get questions answered.”
“The office hour will be during the lunch hour, for constituent convenience,” said Nancy Brannon. “Out of courtesy for all who show up at the office, and to ensure that everyone will be able to get their questions and concerns heard, I am asking that everyone please be concise with their questions. If for any reason I can not answer your question during your visit, I will get all necessary information from the constituents in order to follow up with them at a later time.”
